Fast Vietnam eVisa — Approved on Weekends and Tet 2026

Traveling to Vietnam has never been easier thanks to the Vietnam eVisa system. However, many travelers worry about delays when applying close to weekends, public holidays, or the Vietnamese Tet Holiday in 2026.

The short version: Vietnamese government offices close at weekends and for several days at Tet, so the standard eVisa route stops. A weekend and holiday tier covers those days at a higher fee. If you are travelling on a weekday instead, the urgent eVisa (4 to 8 working hours) or an emergency eVisa (1 to 2 hours) will be cheaper. Fees for every tier are on the pricing page.

This guide will show you how to apply for a Vietnam eVisa fast, even if you need approval during weekends or Tet Holiday, and how to avoid common mistakes that cause delays.
